Dominique Y. Tauzin

Dominique Y. Tauzin joined Rodi Pollock in June, 2013. She has been an attorney since 2001 and now practices exclusively in the areas of estate planning, trust administration and probate. Her estate planning practice includes the preparation of revocable living trusts and wills for many types of clients, employing more sophisticated planning techniques for complicated assets and situations. She also has extensive experience with court probates and trust administration, including disputes involving fiduciaries, beneficiaries and charitable organizations.

Dominique came to the trusts and estates field after gaining experience in other areas of the law. Her legal career began as legislative counsel to the New York State Assembly. After working as a Senior Appellate Attorney for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, she returned to her native Los Angeles to work as a litigation associate for a mid-size law firm, all the while assisting family and friends with simple trusts and estates matters. She ultimately opened her own law office and focused her practice completely on issues of trusts and estates law.

Dominique earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of California at Santa Cruz as a double major in Molecular Biology and American Literature. She earned her Juris Doctor at the University of California Hastings College of the Law, where she served as co-Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Women's Law Journal.

Dominique is admitted to practice law in both California and New York. She lives in Los Angeles, only a few miles away from where she grew up, with her family. She is conversant in French and will always enjoy an opportunity to stretch her brain's "language" muscles.
