 Appeals

Appellate litigation generally calls upon skills very different from those of the trial lawyer. Style of presentation and effective oral and written persuasion are the main stays, and we have an abundance of such talents among our appellate lawyers. We represent clients in appeals and writ proceedings before federal and state appellate courts. Many times, we handle an appeal after we tried the case in the lower court. On other occasions, however, we are retained to bring a fresh viewpoint to the record in a case that has been tried by other lawyers. In all such appeals, we combine our in-depth knowledge of appellate law with our superior written and oral advocacy skills to achieve the best possible result for our clients.
