Perhaps more than any other legal specialty, the trusts and estates practice involves intensely personal issues for our clients. Estate planning requires individuals to plan for their deaths and to deal with difficult family matters, while estate settlement involves dealing with the estate or trust of a close friend or loved one. We must be sensitive to those issues and must also provide sound technical advice to help our clients realize their wishes.
